This is the truck from my vintage tutorial.
For this tutorial I am using the vintage truck from stock exchange:
http://www.sxc.hu/photo/935065
The first thing to do is to extract the truck from the background. Now there really isn’t a good way of extracting an image from a complex background like this. Fortunately we don’t really need to be very careful, because of the extra image effect we will use later. Try to get as close the truck as you can.
Remember to use image masks! So you can edit what you erased later if needed. If you don’t know how to use image masks reference my mask tutorial.
After extracting the Truck you well end with this:

Now copy the truck layer by dragging the layer to the new layer icon.

Now with the copied layer selected. Use Smart blur to highlight the lines.
» Filter » Blur » Smart Blur.

Now invert the results:
» Image » Adjustments » Invert
You should now now have black lines on white.
Next use Gaussian blur to blur the lines:
» Filter » Blur » Gaussian blur

Now multiply the the layer using the multiply blending mode.
If you don’t know what a blending mode is, reference my blending mode tutorial.
You should now have something like this:

Now to the color a little more “vintage” use a curve over lay:
» Layer » New Adjustment Layer » Curves
Use these settings:

Now to add it to the vintage piece:
Drag the truck on to your vintage piece.
Rotate it a little bit so to your liking.

Group the layers together by selecting all the truck layers and hitting ctrl-G(apple+G)
Create a new layer underneath the truck group. And add some splatter brushes to your liking.

To cover up some of the errors of extracting the truck from the background you can stick some brushes on top.
You should have something like this now:

now turn the paper texture on.

Finished!
